While staying at the Colonial Inn Motel, we want you to enjoy a pleasant and safe stay. The following are our policies, rules and regulations that will ensure a happy environment for all of our guests!

Motel Policies

  • The Registrant is responsible for all registered guests to a room.

  • GUEST MAY SEE ACCOMMODATION BEFORE CHECKING-IN. ONCE CHECKED-IN NO MONIES CAN BE RETURNED OR REFUNDED (EXCEPT THE SECURITY DEPOSIT PROVIDED THERE IS NO DAMAGE OR LOSS) FOR EARLY DEPARTURE /CHECK-OUT DUE TO YOUR CHANGE OF PLANS, SINCE THE REGISTRATION FORM CAN NOT BE VOIDED AFTER CHECK-IN.

  • Room occupancy is limited to registered guests only.

  • No loud or abusive language or fighting will be tolerated. 

  • At the discretion of the management, any room not left in the way it was rented at check-in, will be charged an extra $50.00 cleaning fee.

     ·         You must register and arrange for payment in full prior to entering your motel room. Check out time is 11:00 AM ET and check in time is 2:00 PM ET. All late check out must be fully authorized by our management.

  • ALL OCCUPANTS ARE EXPECTED TO DISPOSE OF BEVERAGE BOTTLES/CANS AND CIGARETTE BUTTS PROPERLY. EXTRA GARBAGE BAGS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.

  • ALL OCCUPANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR BELONGINGS.

  • NO VISITORS ARE PERMITTED ON PROPERTY AT ANY TIME.

  • MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ENTER THE RENTED PREMISES AT REASONABLE HOURS FOR MAINTENANCE ETC.

  • NON-COMPLIANCE OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION AND FORFEITURE OF ALL MONIES PAID.

  • Cancellation Policies: Reservations must be confirmed with a credit card deposit. Cancellations will be accepted with a full refund if made 24 hours prior to your scheduled check-in. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, the entire deposit is forfeited. Special events or holiday reservations will require a minimum 7 day advanced cancellation notice. If less than 7 days notice is provided, the entire deposit is forfeited.

  • Refunds: No refunds will be given for early departures or due to inclement weather especially for  weekend rentals. We will give special consideration when a Mandatory Evacuation Order has been issued for a hurricane or other event. Once an evacuation order has been issued you must vacate the Motel within 2 hours.

  • All weekly rates are non-refundable
  • If we discover any unauthorized visitors or undeclared occupants in your motel room, we will ask you to leave the premises immediately and there will be no refunds.  Our visitor policy is designed to provide a safe and quiet atmosphere for all of our guests. Unless you tell us otherwise, we assume that you are not expecting guests and do not wish to have guests unless you tell us in advance.  Total overnight occupancy for any motel room is limited to two adults.  There is an additional charge for children and you must advise us if children are with your party at the time you make a reservation. Maximum occupancy is set by management and consistent with the State Fire Marshal.

  • We only have 4 smoking rooms. All other rooms are Non-Smoking rooms.  Smoking in a non-smoking room will result in a $250.00 Clean Up Fee.

  • You are expected to leave our rooms clean before departing. (Permanent Weekly Guests:  We expect you to take out the trash and wash any dishes you use. Maid service is available only once a week for permanent weekly room guests.)  A bill will be rendered for excessive dirtiness.

  • Damage to any motel room, or lost/stolen items will be charged to you. You will be charged for damage caused by pets, children, or negligence.

  • Certain pet breeds and the number of pets is restricted by management. All pets staying at the Colonial Inn Motel must be pre-approved before arrival.

·         If we discover any unauthorized pets or animals in your motel room, we will ask you to leave the premises immediately and there will be no refunds. 

  • Understand that the rules will be enforced at the discretion of the management and that disregard of these rules will result in the eviction from the property and forfeiture of all monies paid.
